Where this started
Merchants and marketplace operators often outgrow template storefronts quickly — needing catalog structures, vendor management, and checkout flows a basic store builder doesn't support. MetroDokan is EverExpert's own commerce platform built to serve that range, from a single store to a full multi-vendor marketplace.

The problem to solve
Merchants needed a platform flexible enough to run as a single store, a multi-vendor marketplace with commission and payout logic, or a full third-party marketplace — without needing a separate custom build for each model.

How we approached it
Rather than building three separate products, we architected MetroDokan around a shared commerce core with vendor, catalog, and order-management logic that can be configured for single-vendor, multi-vendor, or marketplace operation.
